S trap means the discharge outlet is on the floor while P trap means the discharge outlet is on the wall.

1. If WC is not dismantled yet and is not sealed with silicone at the back.

Insert a thin long object (eg: long ruler) into the gap between the WC and the wall, and run it down to the ground (as per direction marked in red). If there is no obstruction, then it is S trap (discharge hole on the floor).

Your current WC is fully flushed to the wall, so we are unable to determine the trap type.

For accuracy, you may wish to dismantle the WC to confirm the trap type and trap distance prior making purchase.

For S trap, measure the distance between the center of the trap to the wall.

For P trap, measure the distance between the center of the trap to the floor.

The circled section is the exposed water piping. Need to take into consideration when choosing your WC design.

With exposed water piping, you can only choose design with a curve gap at the back. The curve gap allows the exposed water piping to run behind the WC.

If you are getting our back to wall WC, you need to ensure that the distance between the water inlet point and center of WC is at least 15cm apart. This is to ensure there is no obstacle for the WC to lean against the wall.

Zerorim is totally flat rim while Rimless is rim with short ledge.

Whirlwash flushes in tornado motion with water output from left and center while Whirl+ flushes downwards with water output from left, right and center. And both flushing performance are equally good!
